Back from the field...
My thanks to those who asked where I've been, and my sincere apologies to all who actually want to hear my ramblings! I'll have much more up soon, but wanted to drop a quick note to say I'm back online, at JAF. The last couple of weeks required me to take hundreds of photos, so I've begun the painful process of sorting/editing, and have actual work to do besides. But never fear, I'll tell my tales of Operation Mountain Lion...just be patient, grasshoppers...

Glad you are back and safe and ready to ramble. Just sent an anonymous this AM hoping you were OK and fired off (excuse the pun) some prayers that you were alright! Fast response!!!
Capt. Dan, Just realized you are wearing a shirt with the City of New York Police on its back!!! Not much fills my eyes with tears and my heart with something less gentle than memories of a sunny morning in September in New York. Thank-you for taking it back to the B******* for all of us and a for Department that lost so many that day!!!
Well its about time! Of course I'm just kidding. Looking forward to ramblings and more pics. Glad you are safe.
